The Face Behind Ceremonies with Personality with Sarah Bowness
Your Celebrant Look no further
Lovely to welcome you to my website where you'll find everything you need to know about choosing a celebrant. I'd imagine you're likely here as you're looking for a ceremony with a difference? I also imagine there have been several suggestions pop up on your search engine? If I were in your shoes, I may be a little puzzled as to which celebrant to choose?
So, allow me to share a little about myself. It will give you a better idea of who I am and why I love doing what I do.
I'm all yours I have been creating bespoke ceremonies since qualifying in January 2017
and can't imagine doing anything else, I absolutely love it! I meet people from all walks of life under many different circumstances. I find talking to them absolutely fascinating.
I am so lucky to have people entrust me with a window into their lives. They share their thoughts, feelings, and memories with me. I then create a bespoke ceremony which truly reflects them, their family, or their loved one.
Almost 7 years later, I am still humbled that I can help people during their milestone moments. I will forever be grateful to them for putting their faith in me.

Put your faith in me
With me, what you see is what you get, and I love that previous families I've helped have said this puts them instantly at ease! My nan always used to say, "if you were any more horizontal, you'd be lying down!" (what an amazing woman she was!)
I'm a big believer in being authentic, and the style of the ceremonies I create reflect my relaxed and fun nature. I am nothing if not adaptable though, and my mum says (yep, another family saying!) "you're like a chameleon!" because I can adapt to any situation and think on my feet.
You can see what other couples have said for my services on my Reviews and don't forget to check out my Facebook page!
Inclusivity
As my business expands I am always looking for ways to make it more inclusive. With this in mind I started learning British Sign Language September 2022, and having passed my Introduction Level and Level 1 exams, I am now on Level 2 which is definitely more challenging but I love it! Its so rewarding to be able to chat with members of our deaf communities, and I hope one day to be able to offer ceremonies both full and partly signed.
